Network-Centric Advocacy: NetGen Wants Small Group Organizing
This site has terrific ideas about "distributed advocacy" -- which is an idea that I love. Haven't had time to read the entire site yet, but it looks like a place to spend some quality time.
I think what Ivw read agrees with something I've advocated for a long time -- the weaknesses of your position (small, no funding, more enthusiasm than experience) can become strengths if you learn to exploit the new tools immediately. Once things like email, websites, blogs, etc. become part of the mainstream, you need to move on. Organizations on the cutting edge shouldn't be using too many tools that are actually out of beta.... connect, connect, connect.
How many of these groups do you think can afford the sheer overhead of MS Exchange Server -- in either administrative effort, time, money, or risk?
