I've become an avid reader of The Diary of Samuel Pepys. Is there any governmental official writing today that has the inside scoop, as well as the brevity, of this fellow? Also, good to know that dealing with carpenters, painters, and plasterers, etc. hasn't changed much in the last 300 years.
This Diary, along with a few other interesting projects like the Wikipedia and the recent Neal Stephenson-related project are beautiful examples of how hypertext can work, and how the collective work of many people can create a wonderful outcome, both broad and deep.
