Link: 21st Century Vision: Bhopal Remembered.
This post links to Amnesty International's report on the current state of things in Bhopal. Same as it ever was.
Fundamental questions for the future:
Who will be accountable?
Who will hold wrong-doers to account? When the only entities powerful enough to take on wrong-doing multinational corporations are governments, and the governments are unwilling (because they are co-opted in various ways?) to do so, who will? Who can?
Is there any doubt that if citizens of India stormed the gates at Bhopal and shut down the plant, the combined forces of Dow and the Indian governments would punish them swiftly and severely?
